Alistair is the founder and managing director of Planning Focus. Alistair has twenty-six years planning experience and has been a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute since 1993. Alistair is particularly well regarded for his commercial acumen, and specialises in strategic advice, planning due diligence and development management.
Paul Arnesen
Paul joined Planning Focus in 2008 and became a partner in 2018. Paul has twenty years planning experience and is a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute. Paul is a skilled practitioner with a thorough understanding of the legislation and provisions governing planning and development.
Alex van Son
Alex is a senior planner and has worked with government and private sector organisations in Auckland, Dubai and Sydney. Alex holds a Bachelor of Planning degree and is a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute. Alex joined Planning Focus in 2014 and became a partner in 2019.
